I have a very soft corner for poetry in my heart. To me, poetry is like a beautiful smile that lingers on long after it has been gifted. We love starting our homeschool day with a poem from “Sing a Song of Seasons” and picking one poem to memorize each week. I find poetry to be a beautiful way to enrich our children’s vocabulary and expressions. Many poems have also launched us into deep philosophical discussions!
